Groupe Casino has announced the appointment of Regis Schultz as the new chairman of Monoprix, as well as a member of the executive committee of the retail group.
Schultz, who takes up his position on 22 August, joins Monoprix from Darty France, where he is managing director and group president.
Aged 47, he holds a DESS in Corporate Finance and Financial Engineering from l’Université Paris Dauphine.
He also held previous roles with Pernod Ricard and Kingfisher Group, including a position as Financial Director and Commercial Director at UK chain B&Q.
