2 Sisters Food Group has announced that it has resumed operations in its poultry processing factory in Llangefni in Wales.
The company suspended operations temporarily in the facility around the middle of June following an outbreak of COVID-19.
During this period, it worked closely with its partners such as the Welsh Government, Public Health Wales, the Health and Safety Executive, Anglesey County Council, the Food Standards Agency, and Unite the Union to ensure better practices in controlling future outbreaks.
The facility will return to full capacity in phases and limited production will commence only after briefing all employees about the range of measures implemented by the company.
It also added that the prevention of infection is a shared responsibility and every person should take personal responsibility for their own behaviour.
