An exclusive event, the Anuga Executive Summit, will take place on the eve of this year's Anuga 2015, which runs from 10 to 14 October at Koelnmesse, Germany.
The Anuga Executive Summit, taking place on 9 October, offers retail and FMCG managers a forum to discuss current trends and strategic future issues.
At the Summit, Professor Manfred Güllner will be kicking off the debate. The founder of the Forsa Institute has been assessing the political mood in the country for German media outlets such as Stern and RTL for a number of years.
As well as addressing a number of other pertinent topics, Güllner will be addressing a variety of questions in his keynote speech, including: 'How do the Germans perceive sustainability', 'What are they prepared to pay for it', 'Are they prepared to change their habits' and 'What can the industry and trade do to achieve the goal of sustainable consumption?'
In addition, several chefs de cuisine from the exclusive Cologne food service sector will provide food and drinks at the Anuga Executive Summit.
The organisers of the Anuga Executive Summit are the Federal Association of the German Retail Grocery Trade (BVLH), the Federation of the German Food & Drinks Industries (BVE), the Consumer Goods Forum and Koelnmesse GmbH.
