Following the death of Xavier Buelin, Groupe Avril has revealed that Arnaud Rousseau has been made its new chairman, LeFigaro.fr has reported.
The 43-year-old is also the chairman of the Fédération Départementale des Syndicats d'Exploitants Agricoles for the Seine-et-Marne region, and a director of the Fédération Nationale des Syndicats d'Exploitants Agricoles.
In 2005, he joined Groupe Avril’s board of directors in the capacity of a representative of France’s Fédération Française des Producteurs d’Oléagineux et de Protéagineux.
In the wake of the death of Xavier Beulin, the largest table-oil firm in France said, ‘We will remember the energy, the charisma and the vision of a man who made such a major contribution to the emergence of Avril as a French champion. His legacy is enormous and will live on in our memory.’
Jean-Philippe Puig will continue in his role of company managing director.
