Bakery firm Aryzta has named Armin Bieri as its new chief transformation officer.
He will be responsible for leading the strategic reorientation of the company’s core markets and businesses, the company said.
Most recently, Bieri served on the board of directors of the bakery giant.
Elsewhere, the company has appointed Marcus Opitz as its chief restructuring officer.
'Change And Improvement'
Aryzta AG chair and interim CEO, Urs Jordi, welcomed Opitz and Bieri to their new roles and added, “Together with Jonathan Solesbury, who was recently appointed as interim CFO, they will help deliver change and improvement across the business.
“I reiterate my belief that Aryzta has strong development potential, and we have the resources and ability to win with a focused business model of core markets and businesses, a simplified organisation, and empowered local teams.”
