Aryzta executive Peter Jackson is reportedly set to take the top job at Irish food service wholesaler Pallas Foods, according to the Irish Independent.
The move would see Jackson succeed current CEO Dan Geary, whose family have run the company for more than 30 years.
Pallas Foods, which supplies thousands of hotels, stores and restaurants across Ireland, was acquired by by US food service company Sysco in 2009, and annual turnover is thought to be close to €500 million.
Leadership Changes
Jackson is currently managing director of European food service at bakery giant Aryzta, but is said to be joining Pallas in April.
The Swiss-Irish bakery company has seen a number of senior leadership changes in the past year.
New chief executive Kevin Toland began his role in September, while Frederic Pflanz was appointed as chief financial officer, effective January 2018. Last week, the company named Dave Johnson as the new head of its North American unit, and John Heffernan as chief strategy officer.
