Bakkavor Group, the UK-based provider of freshly prepared foods, has announced that it has been named as a Top 100 employer for apprentices in a nationwide survey.
The list was compiled by student written reviews across all school schemes at RateMyApprenticeship.co.uk. Some 4,288 reviews were submitted.
Bakkavor report that a full table will be published at RateMyApprenticeship's exclusive event at, Quintin Kynaston College in St. Johns Wood, London on Wednesday 19th July.
'Nurturing Young Talent'
Pippa Greenslade, HR Director at Bakkavor Group, said: “We are extremely proud of our apprenticeship programme here at Bakkavor and are committed to playing an active role in nurturing young talent in the food industry.”
Bakkavor’s Apprentice Scheme spans nationwide and has a variety of roles including Engineering, Manufacturing, Development and HR. Apprentices have the opportunity to experience real responsibility and contribute to key business activities and projects, whilst at the same time study towards a relevant qualification.
The scheme also focuses on the development of life skills by encouraging apprentices to get involved with local community projects and charity initiatives.
Last year, Bakkavor was also named as a Top 100 employer for graduates.
