Prepared foods manufacturer Bakkavor has announced a new president of its US division, Ben Waldron, effective today (14 January).
Waldron, previously the group’s head of strategic development, replaces Ivan Clingan in the role, who steps down from leading the group’s US business after three years at the helm.
Waldron has been with Bakkavor for seven years, initially joining the business as group financial controller. In his strategic development role, he worked alongside the management board to develop a new strategy for the group, which led him to spend some time in the US in recent years.
Waldron previously worked as a director at Ernst & Young, working alongside clients such as Unilever, Diageo and Hilton.
New Leadership
“I extend my sincere thanks to Ivan for the valuable contribution he has made in helping to grow Bakkavor’s presence in the US over the past three years,” commented Agust Gudmundsson, CEO, Bakkavor.
“I am delighted that Ben will be leading the US business, and under his leadership I am confident that it will continue to grow from strength-to-strength in the years ahead.”
