British American Tobacco (BAT) has appointed Luciano Comin its new regional director for Americas and Sub-Saharan Africa (AMSSA), effective 1 January 2019.
Comin is presently the regional head of marketing for AMSSA, and will replace Kingsley Wheaton, who will take on the role of BAT’s chief marketing officer.
He has held various positions during his 26-year stint in the tobacco company, including marketing director for Venezuela, and Mexico, and the general manager of BAT Mexico.
He also served as the regional marketing manager for Western Europe prior to taking up his current role as the regional head of marketing for AMSSA.
