Cécile Beliot-Zind has left her job at Danone Russia to take control of Danone Water France.
She replaces Véronique Penchienati, who is to become director general of Evian Volvic World, to take the reins of the second-biggest water brand in France (the most dominant is Nestlé Waters).
Beliot-Zind, who is in possession of an MBA from the prestigious ESSEC Business School, rejoined Danone in 2000 after a three-year stint at Kraft, in order to lead the brands Stimorol and Café Grand'Mère.
Her predecessor Penchienati was in 2008 made marketing director of Bonafont Water (a Danone subsidiary), before working for the marketing devisions of, respectively, Danone Water in Belgium and Russia.
