US ice cream manufacturer Ben & Jerry’s has announced the introduction of a vegan ice cream range to stores in Europe by the end of 2017.
The new dairy-free ice cream will be made from almond milk instead of cow’s milk. Ben & Jerry's described the task of producing dairy-free ice cream as challenging, adding that the company has been 'working on this for quite a while'.
Flavour Details
Ben & Jerry's says that the new range will live up to what the ice-cream company is known for: 'enormous chunks, delicious swirls and a commitment to values-led ingredient sourcing'.
The new ice cream flavours have yet to be revealed, however, a dairy-free range is already available in the US, and includes varieties such as caramel almond brittle, coffee caramel fudge, chunky monkey, and chocolate fudge brownie.
