Switzerland's Bell Food Group has announced that the chairman of its board of directors, Hansueli Loosli, has decided to step down from the role after the annual general meeting on 23 March 2021.
In 2009, Loosli joined the company’s board as the chairman and played an instrumental role in establishing Bell Food Group as one of the leading manufacturers of meat and convenience food in Europe.
The company added that it will nominate vice-chairman Joos Sutter as Loosli's successor and Philipp Dautzenberg as a new board member.

Sutter is an experienced professional with in-depth expertise and a broad network across many business circles, while Dautzenberg comes with extensive experience in the international cash and carry trade and foodservice sector.
Most recently, Sutter served as the chairman of the executive board of Coop Cooperative in Basel.
His nomination for the role will ensure continuity in the strategic management of the Bell Food Group, the company said.
Currently, Dautzenberg serves as the chairman of the executive board of Transgourmet Switzerland Ltd, Moosseedorf - a position he took up in 2009.
Between 1999 to 2008, he held several managerial positions in the Metro Group in Portugal, the UK, and Germany, including the role of managing director of Makro Cash & Carry in Portugal.
