French processed-vegetable company Bonduelle has announced that is to extend its organic product offering in the US and several EU countries, which it says is a response to rising market demand for such SKUs.
Its 'BAM Business Unit is developing a whole range of certified organic vegetables: peas, beans, sweetcorn, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.,' Bonduelle confirmed in a press release.
'In the same spirit, Bonduelle has expanded its range of canned organic vegetables to seven new products in the Netherlands, Germany and Sweden.'
In the same statement, Bonduelle says that its ‘Food Service’ unit is attending to 'Nordic restaurants' requests with the launch of 'Easy bag organic pulses' – frozen organic pulses,' while stating that it has become the leading organic food company in Québec.
