British soft drinks maker Britvic has announced the appointment of Tom Fiennes as its new commercial sustainability director for Great Britain.
Currently, he serves as Britvic’s director of strategic change programmes.
In his new role, Fiennes will be responsible for delivering Britvic’s Healthier People Healthier Planet strategy through a focus on packaging, water and carbon programmes as well as employees and communities.
Managing director of Britvic, Paul Graham, commented, "Tom [Fiennes] has a passion for sustainability and mentorship, so I have no doubt that he will make this role his own and help the business to not only meet and exceed our sustainability targets, but also help to further enhance our inclusivity programmes and policies.
An Industry Veteran
Fiennes is an industry veteran with 25 years’ worth of experience in the FMCG sector and has worked with Heineken, Carlsberg, Premier Foods and Mars.
He is also the chairperson of the LGBTQ+ network, B-Proud, and a member of the diversity and inclusion steering committee at Britvic.
Fiennes succeeds Trystan Farnworth, who has assumed the role of commercial director for Britvic in Ireland.
