Brown-Forman Corporation has announced that it has completed the sale of its Early Times, Canadian Mist, and Collingwood whiskey brands to Sazerac Company for an undisclosed amount.
The deal, which also includes the production facility for Canadian Mist whiskey, closed on 31 July.
In June, the company announced plans to sell the three brands to Sazerac as part of its strategy to focus on managing its portfolio of premium brands by developing, acquiring, and divesting various businesses and brands.
Brown-Forman’s beverage portfolio includes, among others, Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands, Finlandia, Korbel, el Jimador, Woodford Reserve, and Old Forester.
