Xavier Boza has been appointed be the new senior vice president and chief human resources officer at The Campbell Soup Company, the company has announced.
Commencing 1 August, Boza will report to the company's interim president and chief executive officer Keith McLoughlin.
His responsibilities will include talent acquisition and management, organisational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, and diversity and inclusion.
Prior to his new role, Boza was the VP of human resources at Global Biscuits and Snacks with the company. Before he joined the soup giant in 2015, Boza was regional vice president of human resources and global supply chain at the Kellogg Company.
Boza also spent nearly a decade as human resources officer for the United States Air Force.
Changes In Leadership At Campbell
Robert Morrissey, who held the position prior to Boza, will retire after nearly 15 years with the company.
Morrissey joined Campbell as VP of HR for global sales in 2003 and was appointed as the chief human resources officer in 2012.
The announcement comes after a number of recent shake-ups in leadership at the company. In May, CEO Denise Morrison unexpectedly stepped down after seven years at the helm.
In the same month, Roberto Leopardi took charge as the president of Campbell Meals & Beverages division; while in April, Luca Mignini was named as the company's new COO. Earlier this week, Diego Palmieri took over as the new vice president and chief marketing officer of US Meals & Beverages.
