Carrefour Italy has updated its e-commerce service. Since 27 September, the magazine section of the 'carrefour.it' site is linked with the e-commerce service, making shopping online easier and faster for the customer. Orders can be picked up at the nearest store, or delivered. Orders over €70 are delivered for free.
In addition, Carrefour has introduced a new 'Drive service' at its hypermarket in Nichelino (Turin), where orders can now be delivered directly to the customers' parked car, free of charge.
Carrefour Italy’s online range covers around 20,000 Carrefour, Terre d’Italia, Carrefour bio and Viversano products. It includes prepackaged and fresh foods, such as meat, sushi and ice cream, fresh fruit and vegetables, personal care- and household products and a selection of baby- and pet foods and care products.
Multinational Carrefour is one of the largest hypermarket chains of in the world and the world's second largest retail group, after Walmart. It operates around 1,600 hypermarkets across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa.
