Coca-Cola France Makes Gonin Director Of Sales For Supermarkets

Coca-Cola France has hired former Unilever France executive Alexandre Gonin to be its director of sales for hypermarkets and supermarkets, lsa-conso.fr reports.

He succeeds Stéphanie Ferran, who will become an international Coca-Cola commercial director. Gonin will report to Carl Lescroart, the vice president of sales at Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) France.

LSA lists his responsibilities as checkout execution of CCE brands, development of sales, and enhancing the distribution of CCE brands across France. These include Coca-Cola, Fanta, Finley, Burn, Sprite, Minute Maid, and Powerade; as well as CCE brands which do not bear the Coca-Cola logo, such as Nestea, Ocean Spray, Capri-Sun, and Monster.

Alexandre Gonin began his CCE career in 1998 as a sales manager. Between 2006 and 2008 he worked as the director of customer service for Unilever France, and then national director of sales for Mattel France, before rejoining CCE in 2011.

CCE is the most dominant producer of non-alcoholic drinks in France.
