The Coca-Cola Company has announced the appointment of Alfredo Rivera as the new president of Coca-Cola North America.
He has been a part of the company for 23 years and, most recently, served as the president of its Latin American division.
'A Remarkable Career'
James Quincey, chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company, commented, “Alfredo [Rivera] has had a remarkable career in Latin America, which is made up of a large number of highly complex and diverse markets.
“Alfredo has built a networked organization that is positioning our business to emerge stronger from the current pandemic."
Rivera will succeed Jim Dinkins, who has retired after more than three decades with the cola giant.
'A Strong Successor'
Quincey added, “He [Rivera] is a strong successor for the top role in our flagship North America market, where he will build on the great progress we’ve seen under Jim Dinkins’s leadership.
“I thank Jim [Dinkins] for his many years of service to the company and countless contributions to our business.”
