Constellation Brands has announced the appointment of Kate Voyten as the senior vice president of brand management for the company’s wine and spirits portfolio, effective 3 August.
She will be based in the company’s wine and spirits headquarters in San Francisco and serve as a member of the wine and spirits leadership team.
In the newly created position, Voyten will lead, develop and execute the vision and brand marketing strategies of the company’s wine and spirits portfolio.
‘Impressive’ Experience
Jim Sabia, the chief marketing officer of Constellation Brands and Robert Hanson, president of the company’s wine and spirits division, said, “Kate brings impressive CPG brand management experience, rich consumer insight, and strong cultural leadership skills that we’re confident will strengthen our team’s ability to build a bold and innovative, high-end wine and spirits portfolio that delivers exceptional consumer experiences.”
An Experienced Professional
Most recently, Voyten served as the vice president of marketing at Hertz Global Holdings Inc., where she was responsible for digital transformation, innovation and omnichannel strategy for the company's loyalty programmes.
Previously, Kate worked with Procter & Gamble for more than 17 years in several brand management roles of ascending leadership for several brands, including Herbal Essences & Hair Food, SK-II, Gucci and Escada Fine Fragrances, and CoverGirl among others.
