The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) Global Summit, the meeting point for top level executives from the retail and FMCG sectors, kicked off in Berlin yesterday with a host of industry leaders addressing the audience.
Among those presenting to what the organisers say was the 'biggest attendance yet' at a CGF Summit were Simone Bagel-Trah, Chairwoman, Supervisory Board and Shareholders’ Committee, Henkel; Olaf Koch, Chief Executive Officer, Metro AG; Lionel Souque, the new Chief Executive Officer, Rewe; Denise M. Morrison President and Chief Executive Officer, Campbell Soup; Julie Hamilton, Chief Customer and Commercial Leadership Officer of The Coca-Cola Company; and Wolfgang Schäuble, Germany’s Finance Minister.

The event was also notable in that two new co-chairs for the Consumer Goods Forum were named, Olaf Koch of Metro and Ian Cook of Colgate Palmolive.
