In France, Danone has claimed a Trophée de la Réputation, placing it among the most-trusted brands in France.
Some 69 per cent of the general public have "confidence" in Danone; 72 per cent of its shareholders are confident in it; of its employees, 68 per cent are confident. Furthermore, 71 per cent of French people consider Danone products of “good quality.”
François Miquet-Marty, president of Via Voice, which helped carry out the study, commented, “Often compared to Nestlé, Danone on this occasion surpasses the Swiss group by almost three points on the survey, and thus wins the trophy for civic responsibility.”
