Danone Streamlines Its European Organisation

Dairy company Danone has plans to optimise its European organisation, combining Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK and Ireland into one operation, reports Retail Detail.

The new structure will allow the company to act more efficiently, led by Adam Grant who is the current managing director for Danone Dairy UK and Ireland.

Kris Geeraert, general manager for Benelux has announced that he will leave the company, while Stephen van Kuik, commercial director for Benelux will become business development director for the new operation.

One Planet, One Health

Danone has also launched a new corporate signature, 'One Planet, One Health', which it hopes will promote sustainability and healthier eating habits.

The company says that it 'symbolises a new stage in the ambition of Danone to become a catalyst of the food revolution'.

The new brand identity will be revealed in July, and will be adopted by the company's brands as early as 2018.
