Leading French organic food producer Distriborg, has changed its name to Bjorg, Bonneterre et Compagnie, it announced in a company press release.
“‘Distriborg’ no longer corresponds to what we are,” its managing director Daniel Tirat told LSA.fr.
“The name of Bjorg, Bonneterre & Compagnie emblemises our two most recognised brands – Bjorg in large-scale retail, and Bonneterre in specialist food shops. This demonstrates our diversity, and [through the new company name] gives a nod also to our other brands. It is a sign of our dynamism.”
In its press release, the company also outlined its ambition to double its turnover by 2020. It currently stands at €300 million.
