At the recent M.A.D.E. exhibition in Paris, ESM met Nico Loufrani, the CEO of The Smiley Company, one of the biggest product licensors in the world.
He told us about Smiley Foods, the group’s food and beverage licensing operation, which helped to drive sales of more than $400 million for its associated brands last year.
Working with both branded and private label suppliers - it has worked with potato products manufacturer McCain for close to a quarter of a century - Smiley Foods aims to ‘spread happiness’ to its consumers around the world.
