French food group Danone has announced that the executive vice president of its Essential Dairy and Plant-Based International (EDP International) division, Francisco Camacho, has stepped down.
Camacho left Danone on 3 September to explore other opportunities outside the organisation, the company said.
He was also a member of the company’s executive committee.
'High-Level' Performance
Danone chairman and CEO, Emmanuel Faber, thanked Camacho for his service and commented, "In his 20 years with Danone, he has been committed to transforming to a high level of performance in our businesses in many countries.
“I am especially grateful for how he and the EDP leadership team brought the business back to growth in recent years. We all wish Francisco [Camacho] the best in his future endeavours.”
The division will continue to focus on business delivery under the temporary leadership of Faber, while Danone reviews its organisational options in the context of a world with COVID-19, the company added. [Pic:©Moovstock/123RF.COM]
