Ferrero Named Most Reputable Global Food Company

Ferrero has been named the most reputable company in the food and beverage sector, according to the Reputation Institute’s Global RepTrak 100 listings for 2016.

The Nutella maker placed 18th in the study, a slight improvement on the 20th position it recorded in 2015. The list was topped by watchmaker Rolex.

Other FMCG companies making the Reputation Institute’s list from within the FMCG sector include Nestlé, at 22, Kellogg’s, at 35, Danone, at 42, and pasta brand Barilla at 43. In the drinks sector, Heineken came in at 76, with PepsiCo at 95 and the Carlsberg Group at 98.

The Global RepTrak 100 list is the world’s largest annual survey of corporate reputations, based on more than 240,000 ratings collected by members of the general public in 15 countries (Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, Spain, the UK and the US).

It measures the public’s perception of the world’s top companies in terms of products and services, innovation, workplace, governance, citizenship, leadership and performance.
