Ferrero is the world’s most reputable company in the food industry, according to the 2017 Global RepTrak 100.
The ranking is published by the Reputation Institute, a world leader in the measurement and management of corporate reputation.
The confectionery group was 17th (with an index of 75.45) in the global ranking led by Rolex (with 80.38), Lego (79.46) and Walt Disney Company (79.19).
Other companies from the food and beverage sectors in the top 100 include Barilla (in 23rd place), Danone (38th), Kraft-Heinz (52nd), Nestlé (54th), Kellogg’s (57th), Heineken (59th), Hershey (62nd), Campbell's Soup (66th), Anheuser-Busch InBev (72nd), Unilever (74th), Coca-Cola (82nd), Bacardi (84th), PepsiCo (93rd) and Starbucks Coffee (95th).
The RepTrak index measures the perception of the general public in relation to the main companies of the world based on seven reputation drivers: products and services, innovation, workplace, governance, citizenship, leadership and performance.
