Nomad Holdings, which recently acquired the Birds Eye parent company Iglo Group, has hired former Delhaize executive officer Stéfan Descheemaeker as its new CEO.
Descheemaeker will take up his new posting at Nomad once the Iglo acquisition is completed, while he will also serve as CEO of Iglo, replacing Elio Leoni Sceti.
"Mr Descheemaeker will provide the strategic direction and day-to-day leadership necessary to achieve Nomad's vision of building a portfolio of best-in-class consumer food companies," Nomad said in a statement. "Working closely with co-founders Martin Franklin and Noam Gottesman, Descheemaeker will implement Nomad's growth strategy and oversee day-to-day operations and brand initiatives at Iglo Group."
Descheemaeker worked as CFO at retailer Delhaize before becoming CEO of its European division.
