Croatian tea and coffee company Franck Group recorded an 8% growth in sales in the first half of 2017 compared the same period last year.
The company managed to increase sales and market share across several product categories in both Croatia and its largest export markets.
According to the latest Nielsen data for the second quarter of 2017, Franck Group boosted its sales in the ground coffee category by 5.4% in volume and 3% in value, confirming its leadership position in Croatia with a 55% market share.
Sales in the tea category grew by 2.3% in volume and 3.6% in value, taking the company’s market share to almost 56%.
Regional Growth
In Slovenia, the company recorded further growth in the ground coffee category, and achieved a record result in the instant cappuccino category.
Franck achieved significant sales growth in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and strengthened its presence in Albania, Macedonia, and Kosovo.
The company has also begun expanding to Scandinavia, Kuwait and 150 Walmart stores in the US.
