What happens when the finger food specialist Frostkrone blends healthy vegetables and crunchy tiger nuts with snack appeal? You get 'Green Date', the new vegan food range with amazingly healthy ingredients.
The new snack range is targeted at the meatless brigade looking for variation in their monotonous diet.
The product is available in six tasty variations. These include Curry Kiss, a fresh and fruity snack made with nutritious edamame beans, mango and tiger nuts, and perfected with apples, carrots, coconut flakes and onions.
It comes with a crunchy coating of coriander, black onion seeds and rice flakes and is available in a burger or coin format.
Sunset Flirt is another tempting flavour, with a crunchy coating of thyme, basil and onion enveloping a composition of carrot, bell peppers, and mushrooms in an elegant paste of peppers and tiger nuts.
It is available as croquettes or burgers.
The Green Date range owes its crunch and delicious taste to tiger nuts – an ingredient free from gluten, lactose, and allergens.
Tiger nuts are rich in fibre, protein, iron, potassium, vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids.
CEO of the Frostkrone Food Group, Frédéric Dervieux, commented, “With Green Date, you not only see the ingredients but you taste them, too. The snacks are incredibly rich in vitamins and nutrients, boasting a very high pleasure factor.”
