Italian organic food producer Probios is set to become a public company within the month. In addition, the company’s management is reportedly considering a stock market listing in 2017.
A new factory in Calenzano (near Florence) is also being launched for the production of sauces and pesto under the brand name ‘Il Nutrimento’.
Probios already produces 840 different products (of which 400 are gluten free) using mainly Italian raw materials. 85% of its suppliers are located in Italy.
Sales reached reached €1.4 million in 2015, and forecasts for the coming years are promising: €2.5 million in 2017, and €3.5 million in 2018.
