Fratelli Beretta participated in the Anuga World Food Exhibition 2019 in Köln, presenting a broad range of charcuterie products, ranging from deli counter specialties to a variety of sliced and pre-packed solutions, for which the company has always been at the forefront.
With constant focus on addressing evolving consumer needs, Fratelli Beretta also showcased a wide range of convenient product solutions, such as snacks under the Salamini brand, light lunch, small plates, and Aperitivo solutions.
Fratelli Beretta is a leading Italian charcuterie producer, selling in over 72 countries. Founded in 1812, the family-owned company is a point of reference for Italian traditional cold cuts across the world.
It produces 19 PDO (protected designation of origin) and PGI (protected geographical indication) products – more than any other single producer.
Prosciutto Di Carpegna
One of the highlights at Anuga 2019 was the Prosciutto Di Carpegna PDO, arguably one of the best prosciutti.
The prestigious product, born in Carpegna in the heart of Italy, is processed by a single and unique plant where 10 master butchers hand down their secrets from generation to generation.
Prosciutto di Carpegna PDO is the result of a careful selection of raw materials that undergo an ageing process, and are cured for a minimum of 20 months.
The product acquires its unmistakable aromatic taste from the surrounding territory and artisanal making.
It is a result of a process that involves combining the fat and salt of Cervia with a secret mix of spices in a special stucco, and the curing fresh air in Montefeltro, located in the Sasso Simone e Simoncello nature park.
Fratelli Beretta also presented its wide and complete range of products under the Viva La Mamma brand, a leading name in fresh gastronomy in Italy.
The range comprises ready meals, sandwiches and panini, pesto and sauces, fresh pasta, seafood, and vegetables.
