Kimberly-Clark Corporation has announced the appointment of Jeff Melucci as its new chief transformation, business development and legal officer.
Currently, Melucci serves as the company’s senior vice-president, business development and general counsel.
The new role adds the responsibility of managing the company's transformation roadmap to his current role.
This expanded role includes the responsibilities of Achal Agarwal, who has decided to retire at the end of this year after 12 years with Kimberly-Clark and a nearly 40-year long career, the company said.
Other Changes
Elsewhere, Gonzalo Uribe has been named as the president of the company’s Latin American consumer business division.
He will report to Mike Hsu and lead the company's consumer operations across Latin America.
Uribe joined the company in 2017 and has been instrumental in leading the company’s business in the Andean region and recently in the North Latin America subregion.
Before joining Kimberly-Clark, he worked with Mondelēz, Kraft, Cadbury and Nabisco.
He succeeds Sergio Cruz, who has been appointed to a newly created leadership role, under CFO Maria Henry, focused on strengthening the company's digital business.
