Kraft Heinz has announced the appointment of three new executives to its US leadership team, which the company says will bring 'new, complementary capabilities' to the group's Stateside operations.
Cory Onell has been appointed president of US sales, Sanjiv Gajiwala has been named US chief growth officer, and Stephanie Peterson has been named head of US communication.
With the new appointments, Kraft Heinz is seeing to underscore its commitment to 'driving sustained growth through customer-centric innovation, strategic investments, and talent development', it said in a statement.
Industry Background
Onell boasts more than 20 years of experience in sales at leading FMCG firms, including J.M. Smucker, Campbell Soup Company, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Mondelēz International and Kraft Foods.
Elsewhere, Gajiwala joins the business from Mike's Hard Lemonade Co, and Peterson boasts experience at PepsiCo, KIND Snacks, and, most recently, IHOP Restaurants.
All three will report directly to Carlos Abrams-Rivera, U.S. zone president for Kraft Heinz.
“I am thrilled to welcome Cory, Sanjiv, and Stephanie to the Kraft Heinz family and believe they will add tremendous value to our business by helping accelerate our transformation agenda and drive growth,” Abrams-Rivera commented.
“With their inclusion on our U.S. Leadership Team, we’re adding critical, best-in-class sales, marketing, and communications capabilities that will help us build a new Kraft Heinz fueled by innovation, insights and agility.”
