The 46th edition of ISM 2016 runs from 31 January to 3 February, and around 37,000 buyers from retailers around the world are expected to be in attendance.
The range of products on offer at ISM encompasses confectionery, biscuits, snacks and a range of chocolate products, with a particular focus on key trends in these areas, including ready-to-eat savoury snacks, fruit and vegetable snacks, and breakfast products.
At the core of the event is the New Product Showcase, which will once again highlight the latest innovations from this dynamic sector, while the ISM Award will once again be conferred upon an outstanding personality from the confectionery industry.
In addition, a number of Theme Pavilions will gather together exhibitors operating in related areas, while the Newcomers’ Area will focus on businesses seeking to break into the competitive confectionery and snacking sector.
ISM is occupying Halls 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 and 11 of the exhibition grounds in Cologne, which corresponds to a gross exhibition surface area of 110,000 square metres.
The partner country of this year’s event is France, and approximately 90 exhibitors from the country will be presenting a range of sweets and confectionery, fruit gums, fruit candy, marzipan, sugar-coated candy, chewing gum, liquorice, nougat, foam sugar, candied fruits and much more.
