Mondelez International has made two new changes to its senior management team.
The newly-created post of chief commercial officer will be filled by Mark Clouse, who currently hold the role of chief growth officer.
This new position will help to simplify and accelerate day-to-day P&L decision-making and trade-offs while focusing investments in areas that will best drive profitable growth, said Mondelez.
Suceeding Clouse as CGO will be Tim Cofer, who is currently president of the Asia-Pacific and Eastern Europe-Middle East-Africa division. He will be responsible for the development of next generation innovation platforms and new business opportunities that will accelerate future growth, said the company.
The appointments are effective from January of next year.
In other news, Mondelez International has posted third-quarter profit that beat analysts’ estimates as it continues its cost-cutting plans.
