Natexpo 2019 attracted nearly 17,600 people from 80 countries around the world to Paris-Nord Villepinte, confirming its international reach and role as a leader in the sector.
This edition posted record attendance, up 19% on the previous edition in Paris in 2017. Around 1,115 exhibitors participated in the event, spread across a floor area of 35,500 square metres.
The entire organic sector, comprising leading names in France and abroad, newcomers, and project developers, were represented at the show.
Natexpo succeeded in providing professionals with an all-encompassing vision of the organic product offering across various categories such as food, hygiene products, ingredients and more.
The Latest Trends
The numerous events organised at the show met with huge success and enabled buyers and decision-makers to get up-to-date on the latest trends to seize new opportunities and build new partnerships.
More than 1,200 business meetings took place at the show. Around 40 innovative firms presented new solutions to address the topics of circular economy, anti-waste, eco-design and innovative services for ethical retail.
Another highlight of the event was the presentation of the Natexpo Awards, which recognised 14 innovations in seven separate categories.
Other Highlights
The sector’s leading experts discussed subjects such as economic and statistical data on the organic market, consumer trends, innovations, regulations, regional initiatives, and the latest in organic ingredients.
Professionals also received tailored advice in the area of import and export, and the launch of organic stores.
With contingents from around 30 countries, and 45% more international exhibitors covering 25% of the exhibition surface area, Natexpo was definitively an international show.
The next edition of Natexpo is scheduled in Lyon on 21 and 22 September 2020.
