NATEXPO 2020 witnessed the attendance of around 7,965 professionals on 21 and 22 September amid the unprecedented circumstances due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This edition of the trade fair, which has been highly anticipated by the organic sector since the onset of the pandemic, observed all the health guidance currently in force.
A counting system was used to regulate visitor numbers to the venue, in compliance with official directives.
As a true reflection of the spectacular boom in the organic market during the COVID-hit period, NATEXPO’s resilience offered professionals a valuable all-round view of all the latest developments in the French and international organic markets.
The leading market players turned out in force for the event, which covered the following sectors:
- Organic food
- Ingredients and raw materials
- Cosmetics and hygiene products
- Dietary supplements
- Household and personal products and services
- Services and equipment for retail and brands
The numerous events at the show allowed participants to learn about the latest trends, seize new opportunities and forge new partnerships. Nearly 500 face-to-face business meetings were held during the event.
This edition of NATEXPO was an exceptional opportunity to get a complete overview of all the new organic trends from the past few months.
These include traceability, anti-waste, circular economy, eco-responsibility, indulgence, and new technology, among others.
The two-day event was studded with special features, advice and talks about the latest in the organic sector in France and around the world.
The exhibition offered theme-based trails, including the new 'Zero waste' trail, alongside the 'Frozen food', 'Organic catering', 'Organic private label', 'Gluten-free' and 'Vegan' trails.
This year, NATEXPO also created a virtual exhibition for all those who were unable to travel to Lyon.
The next edition of NATEXPO will be held from 24 to 26 October 2021 at Paris Nord Villepinte – Hall 6.
