Nestlé has announced that Magdi Batato, its head of operations and executive vice president, is to step down from the consumer goods giant after a 30-year career with the business.
Batato, who has help various roles across three continents during his time with Nestlé, has announced plans to retire in early 2024.
New Head Of Operations
Stephanie Pullings Hart, currently senior vice president of operations at Warby Parker, is set to return to Nestlé, effective July 1, 2023, as the deputy head of operations.
Following a handover period, she will take over as head of operations and executive vice president at the Swiss-based food firm on 1 January next year.
At Warby Parker, she is responsible for manufacturing, supply chain and customer experience. Prior to Warby Parker, she held the position of senior vice president of global operations at Beyond Meat, whom she joined from Nestlé in 2018.
