Nestlé has announced that Gim Huay Neo, the managing director of sustainability at Temasek, has joined its Creating Shared Value (CSV) Council.
Formed in 2009, the CSV council is an external advisory arm of the company, which responsible for developing long-term sustainability and positive social and economic impact of the Creating Shared Value business strategy.
'A Great Asset'
Nestlé CEO, Mark Schneider, commented, “Creating Shared Value is fundamental to how we do business at Nestlé. With her experience in sustainability strategy, solutions and impact investing, Gim Huay will be a great asset to the work of the Council."
The council, chaired by Janet Voûte, comprises nine external members, with expertise in corporate social responsibility, strategy, sustainability, nutrition, water and rural development.
Council members also form the judging panel for the Nestlé CSV Prize, the company added.
