Swiss food manufacturer Orior has appointed Nestlé executive Daniel Lutz as its new CEO.
He currently holds the role of managing director for Nestlé food and beverages in China.
Lutz will move to Orior, producers of meat, fish and pasta ranges, in February. He replaces Bruno de Gennaro, who was heading up Orior on a temporary arrangement, following the departure of former CEO Remo Hansen this summer.
De Gennaro will move back to his previous position as head of Orior's convenience-food division. He made a decisive mark in terms of strategy and results as interim CEO, said the company.
Orior chairman Rolf Sutter said that Lutz will bring "the crucial combination of international expertise and excellent knowledge of the Swiss market environment".
He continued, "Orior is a broad-based company with various product categories and locations. Daniel Lutz is currently managing a similarly diverse business with great success."
