Nestlé and Starbucks have announced the launch of a new range of coffee creamers in the US. The launch marks the entry of Starbucks into the refrigerated creamer category.
The product combines Starbucks' popular flavours and Nestlé's expertise and leadership in the category, Nestlé said.
'At Home' Experience
"We know that Starbucks customers are passionate about their coffee, and with Starbucks Creamers we are delighted to give them another way to enjoy their favourite Starbucks experience and flavours at home and outside our cafes," said Duncan Moir, president, global channel development at Starbucks.
The creamers are available in three flavours - caramel, white chocolate, and cinnamon dolce - and add taste and a creamy texture to the coffee.
The product will be available in the US from the beginning of August in grocery stores and select online retailers.
Global Coffee Alliance
In August 2018, Nestlé and Starbucks signed a deal granting the former the perpetual rights to market the latter's range of CPG and foodservice products globally.
Head of Beverages Strategic Business Unit, Nestlé S.A., David Rennie, said, "The global coffee alliance has allowed us to develop and launch new Starbucks products at an unprecedented speed.
"We are very pleased to expand the Starbucks brand into the creamers category less than a year after we closed the deal," he added.
Earlier this year, Nestlé also launched a range of 24 Starbucks products across various platforms.
