The study carried out by L'Observatoire des Cosmétiques, which involved 604 participants (88 per cent of whom live in France, and 92 per cent of whom are women), shows that organic cosmetic products are purchased most often in organic beauty stores (66 per cent of people surveyed do so).
55 per cent said they regularly buy them in pharmacies; 36 per cent in supermarkets and hypermarkets; and 47 per cent online.
Cosmébio et Ecocert are the brands with which consumers are most familiar.
77 per cent of people surveyed believe organic beauty products are the "way of the future."
