Birds Eye parent Nomad Foods has announced the appointment of Stuart MacFarlane to its Board of Directors.

MacFarlane served as Anheuser-Busch InBev's president of Europe and Middle East for five years, from 2014 to 2019.
He has held various senior roles at Anheuser-Busch InBev's throughout the course of his nearly 30-year career where he has worked in finance, marketing, sales and as managing director of the group's Irish operations.
In 2008, MacFarlane was appointed president of Anheuser-Busch InBev's UK and Ireland arm, and in 2012 he became a member of the group's executive management board, serving as president of central and eastern Europe.
MacFarlane currently serves as a director and member of the corporate governance committee of brewer Anadolu EFES, and had previously served as director of ABI-EFES Russia and Ukraine, a joint venture of Anadolu EFES and Anheuser-Busch InBev.
MacFarlane holds a degree in Business Studies from Sheffield University in the UK and is also a qualified chartered management accountant.
