Unilever’s ice cream brand Olá leads the list of the top 50 brands that enjoy the highest reputation among Portuguese consumers.
Olá (with an index of 83,22) has taken over the leadership position from Nestlé (82,56) in the 'Marktest Reputation Index (MRI)' compiled by Marktest in partnership with Portuguese weekly Exame.
Mercedes (82.54) is in third place, the same position the German car manufacturer had a year earlier.
Top 10
The Top 10 also includes Compal (juices), Luso, BMW, TAP, Danone (dairy food), Mimosa (dairy food) and Milka (chocolate).
The MRI analysis considers five indicators: Familiarity, Admiration, Trust, Image and Word of Mouth for each category of product/service, awarding an index of between 0 to 100.
