The OLIVE YOU European Table Olives campaign will be hosting a special cookery event at SIAL 2018, on Monday 22 October.
Taking place at Hall 1, Stand A81, between 14.00 and 18.00, the event will see celebrated Greek chef Constantinos Vasalos, a leading ambassador for Greek gastronomy, present his ideas, inspirations, and culinary creations.
Vasalos will prepare a series of Mediterranean recipes highlighting the precious European table olives of the Greek land as a key ingredient. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to watch him cook, as well as sample his original creations.
About The 'OLIVE YOU European Table Olives' Campaign
The Panhellenic Association of Table Olive Processors, Packers and Exporters (PEMETE) established the EU co-financed OLIVE YOU European Table Olives campaign, aiming to generate awareness and demand for European table olives from Greece, in the UK, Germany, France, Austria, Sweden and Poland.
Under the OLIVE YOU umbrella, PEMETE and eight of its member companies are participating at SIAL Paris, in Hall 1.
PEMETE, the professional association promoting the interests of table olive exporters, encompasses 46 member companies, representing more than 90% of Greece’s table olive exports to more than 100 countries.
