Italy's biggest coffeemaker Lavazza has selected a new distributor for its products in Croatia.
The agreement signed with local distribution company Orbico is for both the retail and food service sectors, with a goal to increase the number of Lavazza users in the country, boost marketing activities and introduce new products to Croatia.
Orbico is a leading distributor of international food and non-food brands with a strong presence in the former Yugoslavia region.
However, the distribution of Lavazza capsules for office use in Croatia will remain with the companies Drinkomatic and Trivending.
Lavazza has been present in Croatia for over 20 years and its products were previously distributed by local coffee, tea and snacks company Franck.
Lavazza is currently the third biggest selling coffee in the food service channel in Croatia and a market leader in the capsules for office segment.
