'Patta' is Portuguese for paw and is a bold and credible brand name that attracts the attention of customers inside pharmacies.
In association with Farmácias Portuguesas, Daymon developed the brand from concept creation to branding, design and product development.
'Patta' offers special diets, supplements, and general healthcare products for cats and dogs.
The packaging uses three main colours – white for the supplements range, blue for the health care and black for nutrition.
Overall, the design intends to be clean and friendly, with a hint of humour at times, and features large pictures of friendly cats and happy dogs interacting, alongside more serious technical elements.
The brand uses pets as its main characters to create an emotional connection with consumers, and to make the products fun and appealing.
Recently, 'Patta' won three awards at the Portuguese Prémios Lusófonos de Criatividade, including a gold in the 'Best Naming' category and a bronze for both brand design and packaging.
