Procter & Gamble has announced the appointment of Andre Schulten as its new finance chief, effective 1 March 2021.
Currently, he serves as the senior vice-president of the company’s baby care division in North America.
In his new role, Schulten will report to P&G president, chief executive and board chairman, David Taylor.
'Strong And Decisive Leader'
Commenting on the appointment, Taylor said, “Andre is well equipped to take on this role, with a distinguished career in finance and accounting as well as critical business leadership [qualities].
“He is a strong and decisive leader, with an innate ability to rally an organisation behind a compelling vision.”
Schulten succeeds Jon Moeller in the role, who will continue as vice-chair and COO of the FMCG giant and lead P&G’s enterprise markets as well as a broad range of functional and operations areas.
'Winning Strategy'
Taylor stated, “Over the course of 12 years, Jon has been key in creating a focused, winning strategy and a bold company transformation that is delivering for our consumers and shareholders today.
“We will continue to benefit from his leadership as Chief Operating Officer and his focus on delivering balanced growth and value creation.”
